There is no entry fee for the 4-H section. All entrants must fill out a form.

Displays will be judged on  the following criteria:

General Appearance                        20 points

Power to attract & hold attention   25points

Message                                          40points

Quality of Materials                        15points

 

4 H CLUB DISPLAYS

Prizes: A1: $25.00, A2:$20.00, A3: $15.00

 

  • Open to 4-H Clubs who were active during 2023-24.
  • Each exhibit shall consist of a display not to exceed 4 feet wide and ready for table display.
  • Any topic related to the Club area of study may be used.
  • Clubs may display only one exhibit per project.
  • Contact the convenor prior to June 1 to reserve space. A display may be exhibited elsewhere on the grounds (i.e. at the livestock show ring) if the convenor is contacted prior to the deadline.

 

 

4-H YOUTH LEADER & SENIOR MEMBER DISPLAYS

Prizes: B1: $25.00, B2: $20.00, B3: $15.00

 

  • Open to 4-H Members who were Youth Leaders and/or Senior Members during 2023-24.
  • Each exhibit shall consist of a display not to exceed 4 feet wide and ready for table display.
  • Any topic related to the Club area of study may be used.
  • Clubs may display only one exhibit per project.
  • Contact the convenor prior to June 1 to reserve space. A display may be exhibited elsewhere on the grounds (i.e. at the livestock show ring) if the convenor is contacted prior to the deadline.

 

 

ENTER YOUR PROJECT COMPETITION

  • Open to any 4-H Members who were active during 2023-24.
  • Enter a project you made at 4-H, putting your age on the top part of the tag.

 

PEEL 4-H AMBASSADOR COMPETITION

 

Please contact Carol Williams 905-880-5302 by  1st April 2024 to receive the entry forms and for more information. The Ambassador Competition is open to all Peel County 4-H members who must be at least 15 years of age as of January 1 2024. Competitors must have completed two 4-H projects during the current year. Former Ambassadors are not eligible.  Must not hold another title during their reign.  The Ambassador is expected to prepare a display board about a current 4-H activity, to attend and bring greetings to:

  • the three Fairs (Caledon, Brampton and Bolton) and to present ribbons to the 4-H Dairy and Beef Shows,
  • the 4-H Awards Night, Farmer of the Year banquet and the Brampton Kiwanis Club Dinner.

The outgoing Ambassador presents the Pageant Sash or Medallion to the new Ambassador. The Ambassador Competition will be held at a conveniently arranged time before June 1, 2024.
