Section 1& 2: Open Showmanship

1st $20.00, 2nd $15.00, all other entries $10.00

Beef and Dairy Classes for each age section. Ages as of January 1, 2022.

Section 2: Dairy Type

1st $25.00, 2nd $20.00, all other entries $10.00

 

  1. Junior Heifer – March 1, 2022 or younger
  2. Intermediate Heifer – December 1, 2022 – February 28, 2022
  3. Senior Heifer – September 1, 2022 – November 30, 2022
  4. Summer Yearling – June 1, 2022 – August 31, 2022
  5. Junior Yearling – March 1, 2022 – May 31, 2022
  6. Champion and Reserve Champion (1st and 2nd place in classes 1-5 to compete)

Section 3: Beef Type

1st $25.00, 2nd $20.00, all other entries $10.00

Judging commences at approximately 1:30pm

 

Heifers may exhibit in either the breeding or the market division.

  1. Bull calf (born after January 2022)
  2. Heifer calf (born after January 1, 2022)
  3. Junior yearling heifer (April 1, 2017– December 2022)
  4. Senior yearling heifer (January 2017 – March 31 2022)
  5. Cow calf pair
  6. Champion and Reserve Champion Breeding Animal.

The exhibitor of the Grand Champion Breeding Animal will receive a gift and a $100 cash award sponsored by Mono Lea Farms.

 

Market Cattle

 

  1. Steers: Hip Height 1
  2. Market Heifer
  3. Champion and Reserve Champion Market Animal.

The exhibitor of the Grand Champion Market Animal will receive a gift sponsored by Brand AAA Livestock.

 

Overall Grand Champion Beef Animal

The Champion Breeding, and the Champion Market Animals will compete for the

Overall Grand Champion Beef Animal at the 2022 Caledon Fair.

The winner will receive a gift and $100 cash award.
