General Rules for Hall Exhibits apply. Prizes 1st$5.00, 2nd$4.00, 3rd$3.00

All entries under Knitting and Crocheting must have a sample of yarn or material attached to entry tag with a safety pin

Entries must be the work of the exhibitor in the last two years

 

BERT RAYBURN Perpetual Memory Trophy is awarded to the Senior citizen (65 and over) obtaining the most points in Section 17.  All seniors must indicate their wish to participate for this trophy on their entry sheet at the time of registration.   They must enter at least one exhibit in each section of the hall excluding sections 7-9, 18,19 and 21 in order to be eligible for this award. A trophy will be presented at the awards ceremony on the Showmobile on Saturday following the opening ceremonies. Previous winners are not eligible.

  

 KNITTING (Remember your Samples)

  4.   Doll’s two piece outfit-displayed on doll
  5.   Child’s sweater and toque-any style- ages 4-6
  6.   Child or adult slippers

  8.   Hat or Toque with mitts or gloves for man or lady
  9.   Adult Socks, any weight
  10.   Adult pullover or cardigan
  11.   Any knitted article not mentioned

 

CROCHET (Remember your Samples)

 

  1.   Child’s socks
  2.   Baby dress.
  3. Coffee mug cover
  4.   Tea cozy displayed on tea pot
  5.   Three bazaar items attached together- $8.00 value combined
  6.   Three dish cloths-different patterns
  7.   Baby sweater and hat-no ties or ribbons
  8.   Baby blanket or afghan
  9.   Knee blanket-36”x 24”
  10.   Toy
  11.   Any crochet item not mentioned

  8.  Elsie Horsburgh Memorial Special– knit hats for preemies- to be donated to Headwaters Hospital. Prizes- 1st -$10, 2nd -$8, 3rd – $5. All entries to be retained for donation to babies at Headwaters. Sponsored by SUSAN HUNTLEY, REMAX REALTY.
