Canada Day 2021 at Caledon Fairgrounds featured a speech from Caledon Mayor Allan Thompson, members of local service organizations and Caledon Fair’s Junior Ambassador. This short clip shows the colour party members of the Alton Legion raising the flag to half mast to honour our First Nations and offer support and condolence on the grim discoveries this year of unmarked childrens’ graves at residential schools in Canada. We hope to go on together in a spirit of community with a will to do better for all of our people.
